During the Canada Post strike/lockout, VAR Labs is unable to ship orders. We are still open, but all orders will be shipped after the situation has been resolved.
To make up for this, we are offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders placed during the strike.

Canada Post will experience a “work disruption” starting at 11:59pm, Thursday June 2nd.

This means no packages will be delivered or shipped by Canada Post.

VAR Labs will make necessary arrangements to allow your orders to be shipped by shipping via courier. While we strive to keep costs to our customers as low as possible, courier service costs a lot more than Canada Post, so our shipping prices will unfortunately be updated to reflect this change. These changes will affect all customers; those living in Canada as well as those living in the USA and International locations.

IWYS is a really nifty site that basically epitomizes the indie entrepreneur spirit. It all started out with one guy (Jason Sadler) in Florida who created a business model where he gets paid to wear t-shirts everyday. How awesome is that? Now they have 5 t-shirt wearers from coast to coast. They do podcasts, Youtube videos, post photos on Flickr, and connect via Twitter and Facebook.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers issued a news release Sunday saying there will be no “strike activity” on that day and it will remain “business as usual across our network.”

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING POSSIBILITY OF CANADA POST STRIKE

Canada Post is currently in strike negotiations to be determined by May 24th. The Canada Post employees will be in a strike position as of May 25th if an agreement is not reached. VAR Labs uses Canada Post for shipping our items all over the world, so if there is a strike it will affect our customers.

We will keep you up to date on this potential strike.

This is our favourite shirt to date! I took us quite a long time to photograph because we kept wearing the ones we made instead of taking pictures for the website!

I just love how the colours turned out on the black shirt! They have a bit of a faded/retro feel, due to our hand painted technique, but they are still very vibrant.
